Returns

Madacsi Studios is an independent artist studio led by Susan Madacsi. Many pieces are one of a kind, made in small batches, or created specifically for the collector. Because of this, all sales are final, with very limited exceptions.

Accepted Returns

Returns are accepted only if:

  • An item arrives damaged during shipping, or

  • An item is significantly different from its description

To be eligible for consideration:

  • You must contact us within 2–3 days of delivery

  • Photos of the item and original packaging are required

  • Items must be unused, unaltered, and returned in original packaging

  • Return authorization must be approved before shipping the item back

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • One-of-a-kind original artwork

  • Custom or private commissions

  • Made-to-order items

  • Items intended to be returned due to personal preference (color, scale, texture, or style)

We encourage you to review all photos, dimensions, and descriptions carefully and reach out with questions prior to purchase.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items returned due to incorrect address information or refused delivery are not eligible for a refund.

Madacsi Studios operates as a working artist studio. Each piece is individually prepared and packaged with care.

Processing Times

Processing times vary depending on studio workflow:

  • Ready-to-ship items: Typically ship within 48 hours

  • Studio production periods: Please allow up to 2 weeks

  • Custom commissions or made-to-order items: Timelines will be communicated individually

Processing time does not include transit time.

Shipping Rates & Methods

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination.

Some large or fragile works may require specialty art shipping. If this applies, you will be contacted prior to shipment.

Currently shipping within the United States. International inquiries may be accommodated by request.

Tracking & Delivery

Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships. Madacsi Studios is not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, or incorrect shipping details provided at checkout.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 2–3 days of delivery with photos of the artwork and packaging so we can assist.
