All Materials, Tools and Instruction Provided: 3/8" square bar stock and all necessary tools

Age Requirement: 16+ (under 18 with guardian permission)
Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants and no synthetic materials. Cotton and wool etc recommended. Bringing a lunch is recommended due to the time of day.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join us for a hands-on introduction to blacksmithing where you’ll forge your own handmade dinner bell and ringer from start to finish. This beginner-friendly workshop focuses on learning essential forging techniques while creating a functional and beautiful piece to take home.
Using 3/8" square bar stock, you’ll explore the fundamental skills every blacksmith needs:
Drawing a taper
Upsetting
Twisting for texture and style
Setting a shoulder
Bending and forming to shape
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own forged dinner bell ready to ring—and the foundational skills to grow in the craft of blacksmithing.
